Privacy policy

This policy describes what happens to the information you submit through the contact form on this website (m2digital.ca), operated by M2 Digital Inc. ("M2 Digital," "we," "us"). We handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and other applicable Canadian privacy law.
What we collect
When you submit the contact form, we collect the name, email address, phone number (if provided), company (if provided), and message you enter, along with your IP address and submission time for spam and abuse prevention. We do not use cookies or tracking scripts on this site beyond what's described below.
Third parties who process it
Two service providers handle data on our behalf as part of submitting the form:
- Amazon SES (AWS) — delivers your submission to our inbox by email.
- Cloudflare Turnstile— verifies you're not a bot before the form submits. Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser signals for this purpose; see Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Neither provider uses your information for their own marketing purposes. We do not sell your information or share it with anyone else for marketing, and we won't add you to a mailing list without your separate consent.
How we use it
We use the information you submit only to respond to your inquiry and to protect the form from spam and abuse.
How long we keep it
We retain contact form submissions for up to 24 months from the date of submission, after which they're deleted unless you've become a client — in which case normal business and accounting record-keeping applies instead.
Your rights
Under PIPEDA, you can ask us what information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted at any time. To make a request, or if you have a concern about how we've handled your information, email contact@m2digital.ca and we'll respond within 30 days.
